14th July 2026
We’ve introduced several quality-of-life updates to streamline your workflows and maintain consistency across the platform.
Enhancements
Journaling to Customer/Supplier Ledgers: For two-way traders, you can now enter an Adjustment allocated directly to a Customer or Supplier ledger.
Toggle for System-Learned Bank Rules: Take control of automated categorization. For accounts using Bank Feeds or File Imports, a new toggle has been added within Bank Rules. You can now turn off the system’s automated learning feature or toggle it off and on again to completely reset learned rules.
Improved Number Formatting: To make large numbers easier to read at a glance, we have implemented thousands separators (
x,xxx, xxx.xx) across data entry screens (excluding split screens).
Bug Fixes
We’ve resolved several back-end issues to ensure data accuracy and smoother reporting.
Contra Invoice Payments: Fixed an issue where invoice payments from imported bank accounts were failing to process correctly when dealing with invoices containing negative line items.
Multi-Currency Trial Balance Discrepancies: Resolved a bug where multi-currency entries were causing the Trial Balance to fall out of balance.
Customer Statement Filtering: Fixed a glitch in customer statements where filtering by "outstanding invoices only" was mistakenly including paid invoices. Filtering now accurately reflects only unpaid items.

We’ve rolled out some exciting updates to give you better visibility into your reports and keep you on top of VAT deadlines. Here is a breakdown of what’s new:
Enhancements
VAT Audit Report Improvements (PDF & CSV): We’ve upgraded the VAT Audit Reports to give you deeper clarity and better data organisation, whether you export them to PDF or CSV:
New Contact Tracking: A dedicated Supplier/Customer column has been added so you can identify the source of each transaction at a glance.
Section Subtotals: Reports now include subtotals for each section, making it much easier to review, verify, and reconcile your numbers.
Smart VAT Notifications: Never miss a deadline again. We have introduced automated reminders to keep your VAT submissions on track:
Upcoming Return Reminders: Between the 1st and 7th of the month when a VAT return is due, you will receive a daily notification upon logging in to remind you to submit your return soon.
Overdue Alerts: If a deadline slips by, a clear notification will appear to let you know that your return is overdue.
Supplier/Customer Setup Modal: We are committed to making our platform accessible and user-friendly, no matter what device you use:
Internal Scrollbar Added: We’ve added an internal scrollbar to the Supplier/Customer setup modals. This drastically improves usability for anyone working on smaller screens or navigating without a mouse (e.g., using a laptop trackpad).
Bug Fixes
Prevention of duplicate Supplier and Customer References: To ensure data integrity and efficient practices when importing data such as invoices, we have deployed a fix to prevent duplicate trader references.
Note: If you have duplicate references for traders already in your data, you may experience an issue saving new invoices for a trader with a duplicate reference - the error will state that the Invoice Reference has already been used when trying to save a new invoice.
If you see this error you will need to check your Supplier or Customer setups, and edit the Reference of this one or the duplicated supplier, to ensure they are both unique within your data.
This is done by:
Go to Suppliers > Supplier / Customer > Customers.
Find the Suppliers in question. It may be best to use the search box to find the duplicated references.
Use the yellow pencil icon to edit the Supplier/Customer record and amend the Reference so that it is unique.
Save the amended record and complete your data entry.
To stop this happening again, you can order your supplier / customer records in alphabetical order by Reference, and you can check that no more duplicates exist.
