View Line Items, found under the 'Accounting' tab, has been designed to ensure that all data can be interrogated at line item level, utilising the filter options to source specific information and view in system or export as a PDF or CSV report.
Configuring your screen
There are several different things you can do to optimise your experience within View Line Items, and it starts by getting the page and data right for you.
Columns
Depending on your business setup and the features you have enabled, you can then choose which columns of information you wish to be displayed, using the column select button.
You can also drag and re-order columns should you wish, by selecting the column header and moving it to a different location should you wish.
As well as this, you can also choose to fix one column using the lock button, meaning if you are scrolling to the right, then the column you have chosen to fix will always be visible. We recommend moving this column to the far left before locking.
TIP - If you need to scroll left and right on the page to view columns, you can simply use the arrow keys on your keyboard to do this! Ensure you have clicked into the table of results first.
Maximising the page
If your columns are wider than your page and you are needing to scroll horizontally, then try maximising the page view using the <> button to ensure you're using the full screen width.
No. of results to display
Just like other screens, you can choose whether the page displays 10, 25, 50 or 100 results.
Note: if there are multiple pages of results, then the column total displayed is for all pages and not the specific page you're on.
Interrogating data
Use the filters and searchbox to extract specific data - the filters you will see will be dependent on your business setup and the features you have enabled.
Reporting
All search results can be exported in either a csv or PDF format.
