Select Accounting > View Transactions.
From here you can see a list of all of the transactions you have entered into the software.
You can sort the transactions by each column heading in either ascending or descending order, for example by date or category.
Edit/View Transactions
You can edit your business transactions by using the buttons to the right of the line.
Attach Documents
If you have a scanned copy of the original invoice it can be uploaded and attached to this transaction so that it can be viewed.
Manage Notes
Add free typing notes about this transaction.
Addtional Options
Transaction Link - To copy a link to a particular transaction – perhaps to send to another member of staff or your accountant.
To delete a transaction - Transactions can be deleted providing they have not been included in a completed VAT return. To delete multiple transactions select them and use the ‘Delete Checked’ button at the bottom of the screen.
Bank Rules - In the case of bank feeds or imported transactions - which bank rule was used to check and confirm the entry
Batch Edit
You can also edit multiple transactions by selecting transactions and clicking ‘Edit Checked’ at the bottom of the screen. This is handy if you want to make the same change across lots of transactions, for example to amend a category or description. See Bulk Editor.
Filter - Advanced Search
You can filter your transactions by clicking on the filter icon:
This will allow you to filter transactions by Date Range, Amount From/To, Type, Entry Method, Category, Account, Enterprise (if applicable) and Tax Code.
Mulitple selections can be made in each filter and will select any transaction that includes that selection.
This function is useful for narrowing down transactions you wish to view or edit in bulk.
