Importing Adjustments

Within TELUS Farm Accounting it is possible to import both a standard and Wages Adjustment.

This can be done from the Accounting drop down, and by selecting the 'Import' option for either a standard or Wages entry.

Standard Adjustment import

Format of csv file

  1. Your file will require the following headers:
    Date - date of the adjustment
    Category - this can be category code or name
    Quantity
    Price
    Credit Amount
    Debit Amount
    Enterprise (if Enterprises enabled)
    Searchcode (if Searchcodes enabled)

  2. Each line of the adjustment must have:
    A date (all the same date for the same adjustment)
    A Category
    A Debit OR Credit Amount - the total for the file must be equal
    Quantity, Price, Enterprise and Searchcode are optional fields, but the column headers will still be required.

Importing within TELUS Farm Accounting

  1. Go to Accounting > Adjustments > Import
    ​

  2. Enter a Description - note this will be the description on the entry

  3. Select the date format as per the csv file

  4. Drag and drop / browse to your file

  5. Save and upload

Wages Adjustment Import

Format of csv file

Your file will need the following headers:

  • Date - date of adjustment

  • Net Wages - net amount paid to employee(s)

  • Tax - Employee(s) Tax amount

  • Employee NI - Employee(s) NI amount

  • Employer NI - Employer's NI amount

  • Employee Pension Contributions - Employee(s) pension contributions

  • Employer Pension Contributions - Employer's pension contributions

Note - it is one line per Wages Adjustment

Importing into TELUS Farm Accounting

  1. Go to Accounting > Wages Adjustment > Import

  2. Enter a Description - note this will be the description within the adjustment entry

  3. Select the date format as per the csv file

  4. Drag and drop / browse to your file

  5. Save and upload
